Plas Golf & Stay
Abersoch Golf Club
We are the perfect place to stay for couples and ideally placed for all the courses in the area including Royal St.David’s in Harlech, Pothmadog, Pwllheli, Nefyn and our partner in Abersoch.
Plas Tan-Yr-Allt Historic Country House has now partnered with Abersoch Golf Club voted Golf Course of the year 2018 by Your Golfer Magazine and voted the 16th top course out of 50 in 2019 by Golf World magazine.
Described by some visitors as “The Friendliest Golf Course in Wales” “A Jewel on the Welsh Riviera” and “Fantastic Golf Course, Stunning Views” the golf club at Abersoch is one to put on your North Wales golfing list. Offering a challenging mix of 18 holes on traditional links and parkland, the course is a must for golfers of all abilities.
Take for example the signature 246 yard par 3, 3rd hole with elevated tee and panoramic views requiring an accurate drive downhill over both gorse and a water hazard to a sloping green with a bunker waiting at the back. Follow that with links holes hugging the coastline and contoured over a century ago through huge, natural sand dunes, accuracy is key here as wayward drives can be punished.
The clubhouse is welcoming and friendly and now has the benefit of a simulator room for those few days where getting on the course is not an option.
